A hearty welcome to the new portal of the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC)!
CSMC has transformed this city portal, to be more inclusive, friendly and accessible, as a part of the 100 days agenda, announced by the Hon. Chief Minister, Shri Devendra Fadnavis.
For the past few years, CSMC has worked tirelessly to provide a seamlessly digital experience for the citizens of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. This includes digital payment of taxes, online registration of grievances, tax estimation tools and online applications for various municipal services. I personally believe that Digitisation is a journey, not a destination, and hence CSMC will strive to provide even more online services. Our sincere effort is to provide ease of life for the citizens of this great city and providing digital services is a big component of this effort.
The city of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has undergone rapid transformation over the past decade. Our city provides a unique blend of tourism, education and industry - this has resulted in increase in population – transient and permanent, and vehicles on the road. CSMC had geared itself to address this growth with an ambitious plan of investment in civic infrastructure. We want to ensure that the citizens are able to live and transact in the city in a proud and dignified manner.
Since the past few years, we have taken several steps in improving the quality of life in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar including:
- Transformation of municipal schools into “Smart” Schools
- Concretisation of roads
- Modernisation of auditoriums
- Refurbishment of stadia and playing grounds
- Better management of solid waste
- Enhancement in public transport and so on
I would like to appeal to all the citizens of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to be responsible participants in this journey of improvement by paying the due municipal taxes on time. This will help the city administration to provide municipal services in an effective and efficient manner.
Citizens can also provide their feedback on the new portal which will help us to enhance the features going forward.
